100 new Pokemon could be coming soon to Pokemon Go

Second generation Pokemon could be on their way to Pokemon Go soon. Some folks from Pokemon Go fansite The Silph Road have been poking around the code of the latest Pokemon Go APK file, which has revealed a few clues about what’s coming up next in the hit augmented reality title.
The biggest news is that 100 new Pokemon have been referenced, number 152 (Chikorita) to number 251 (Celebi), as well as 52 new Pokemon families. This would be the first influx of new Pokemon since the game’s July launch. Additionally, a new quick move, ‘Transform’ is mentioned – a move associated with Ditto, the only non-legendary Pokemon of the original 151 yet to be seen in the game.
Rounding things off, the code also suggests that an anti-gym-lockout system – to prevent players who weren’t active in a gym takeover reaping the rewards – is on its way.
There’s no indication as to when these additions will appear in Pokemon Go but their presence in the code implies that they aren’t far off.
Are you excited to catch 100 new Pokemon? Let us know in the comments.

The TCL Xess is a 17.3-inch, Alexa-powered tablet for the kitchen.

Kitchen-focused tablets need strong voice actions and commands, for obvious reasons – your hands are not always free when cooking! Alexa is a full-featured assistant that can pretty much do anything, thanks to its extensive list of available skills (listed on Amazon’s dedicated page). And the best part is that it can be built into pretty much anything.
Specs include a 17.3-inch 1080p display, a MediaTek MT8783T processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 5 MP camera, 3-watt JBL speakers and more. All for $499.99.
Interested? You can now get the Alexa-powered TCL Xess straight from Amazon. It might be a great solution for those who have been looking into getting an Amazon Echo but would also like to have a large screen in the kitchen.

YouTube adds support for HDR video for devices like the Chromecast Ultra!

If you have a supported TV or PC monitor, you might soon be able to view High Dynamic Range (HDR) videos on YouTube for the first time. Google has announced it has added support for the advanced video features, and any YouTube creator can begin uploading HDR-based clips right now.

In case you are not familiar with HDR, it allows videos to show a wider range of colors and brightness. This is supposed to result in images that have a more realistic look to them compared to the older SDR videos. YouTube has already posted a small range of HDR-supported clips from some of their content creators, such as the one shown below

Of course, you will need an HDR-supported TV or PC monitor to fully appreciate the more realistic videos on YouTube. HDR TVs can take advantage of the support if they use the $69 Chromecast Ultra Streaming Dongle from Google.

The YouTube app on all 2016 Samsung SUHD and UHD TVs will also be updated in the near future to support HDR videos. Google says it is working with other partners to add support for its HDR-based clips as well.
